Mark-10 Website Redesign

My role:
Lead designer and developer for a comprehensive company website update.
Goals for the front end included responsive design optimized for all
screen sizes, content filters for distributor listing pages,
ADA and WCAG accessibility compliance, and an overall rebranding in
accordance with existing brand standards. Goals for the backend included
customizing the Wordpress CMS to allow multiple author’s to contribute
content in an intuitive way, to manage webforms for customer inquiries,
and to optimize the backend for performance with server side caching.
Technology used:
Wireframe for the product page layouts.
Mobile navigation - an exapandable sidebar with nested dropdowns was utilized for mobile navigation.
Where to buy - SVG maps were used to guide users when looking for product distributors near their location. Sections on each map are clickable and linked to html anchor tags. The list of distributors is also filterable by services provided.
Resources - a searchable and filterable resources section was created to provide quick access to product downloads.
Case studies library - A "Case Studies" post type and "Industry" category were created in the Wordpress database. These posts are displayed on an index page where they are sortable by industry.
